Business Survival and Sustainability: “…Pancrete It”

So, we found a great solution right under our noses – Pancrete It.! We tape over the crack(s) and pour in Pancrete and voila! a better than new containment pallet.

trishMan, do I hate to recycle things.

Recycling at home and at work is expected these days. Sometimes I feel like a “wasteful American capitalist” when I toss out my soda cans and newspapers. I’m not going to preach here, so don’t bail out on me yet.

As you know we make a lot of products, almost all of them contain liquids. These liquids come to us in 55 gallon drums most of the time. We have these drums picked up and recycled, so we’re good in that regard.

If one of the drums should spring a leak we have to make sure the chemical won’t spill onto our floor. To this end we have a lot of 4 drum spill containment pallets. These pallets are plastic.

After a few years of chemical exposure the plastic these pallets are made from become brittle and eventually crack.

The pallets aren’t really that expensive, though the shipping charges getting them here may be. And besides – I just hate to toss that kind of thing out.

So, we found a great solution right under our noses – Pancrete It.! We tape over the crack(s) and pour in Pancrete and voila! a better than new containment pallet.

V570 and Panhole Filler should work just as well for pallets that won’t normally be moved.

I’m so proud :–)

I’m a refurbisher. Which is what Pancrete is all about any way.

Tell us about some other use for these products you thought of and would like to share.
