Have you hired someone for your company? Have you lost someone from your company? Do you have someone on maternity leave? Are you looking for someone new to add to a department?
Regardless of who you have lost or gained, need to fill in for or add, remember to always be proactive. In time of change, do not let things slip from your grasp. Keep a firm grip on the task at hand, but make sure to keep all departments up and running.
Don’t let a department or division get to “empty.” Your vehicle doesn’t run without fuel, so why would you expect a department or division to run itself? In this situation, you want to “add fuel to the fire,” otherwise you will lose your spark! Just like the snazzy tune- “Jump On It,” you should be doing the same. Jump on It, Be Proactive and Make sure you have someone to man the empty department until filled.
At CRT, we recently faced a change, but were immediately proactive about the situation. In the section below, I’d love to hear your experience with a change in personnel, and how you kept the spark in the department throughout.
